One driver was killed in a crash between two semi trucks on Highway 97 near Monte Creek Monday, Feb. 12.
The collision occurred near Hanna Road before 7 p.m., causing a total blockage of the highway, which remained closed until 3 a.m. Tuesday.
“The other driver survived the collision and was taken to hospital for assessment,” said BC Highway Patrol Cpl. Melissa Jongema.
The investigation into the cause continues.
The highway will be temporarily closed during the vehicle removal today.
