UPDATE: Missing 24-year-old Vernon woman found

UPDATE:

Mere hours after RCMP issued a missing person report for a local woman, she was found safe and sound.

“The Vernon North Okanagan RCMP would like to extend our appreciation to the public and our media partners for their assistance,” said Const. Chris Terleski, media relations officer.

Police are hoping the public can help find a missing woman.

Tiana Mae Boyd, who also goes by Nina, was last seen in Vernon on Monday, Feb. 19.

The 24-year-old is five-foot-five-inches tall, weighs approximately 141 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.
