The family of an Enderby senior who was reported missing says he has been found.

Thomas Hart, 65, hadn’t been seen since noon on Thursday, but on Saturday, a family member told The Morning Star that he is home “safe, but tired and sore.”

“We are all just very grateful that he is home, healthy and unhurt,” the family member said. “We would like to thank everyone for assisting in bringing him home.”

Police are asking the public for help locating a missing Enderby man.

Thomas Hart, 65, left his home on Enderby Grindrod Road around noon Thursday, May 3, and has not been heard from since, the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP said in a media release Friday.

Hart is believed to be travelling on foot and may be hitchhiking, trying to make his way to Alberta, police said.

He may appear confused or disoriented if approached, and police said his family is concerned for his well-being.

Hart stands five-foot-eight and weighs 178 pounds with grey hair and brown eyes. Her was last seen wearing a navy Helly Hansen sweater, black jeans and beige shoes, and had a backpack with him.

Anyone who has seen or heard from Thomas Hart is urged to contact their local police.
