Restaurateur Anil Kulu has introduced Vernon’s first Ricky’s All-Day Grill and Famoso Pizzaria and Bar – a union made in culinary heaven.
Located at the Best Western Pacific Inn, this perfect pairing serves breakfast daily from Ricky’s Grill, then for lunch and dinner, choose from either the Ricky’s or Famoso menu, Kulu explains.
“Our customers are really enjoying the flexibility of choosing either their favourite dish from Ricky’s or one of Famoso’s authentic Neapolitan pizzas, hearty pastas or Italian-inspired sandwiches,” Kulu says.
“The traditional Margherita, featuring Fior-di-latte mozzarella, fresh basil, Grana Padano and extra virgin olive oil is definitely a favourite.”
Pizza lovers can choose from “red” or “white” pizzas, depending on their preferred sauce, or opt for a “new world” or specialty pizza, like sweet barbecue chicken or Famoso Hawaiian. Don’t see your favourite combo? Create your own!
Toppings are fresh and flavourful atop a deliciously chewy crust, crafted from “00” flour and cooked to perfection in a high-heat Forno Bell oven.
Ricky’s is a familiar name to many in the North Okanagan, having served generations of Canadian families since 1962.
From fresh soups, salads and lighter fare to hearty sandwiches and Ricky’s Famous Original Burger crafted with Alberta beef, the difficulty is in choosing!
