Chamber seeks new manager

San Rogers is leaving the Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce after three years

The Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce is going through a transition.

The search is on for a new general manager as Dan Rogersprepares to leave the position after three years.

“Although saddened by Dan’s departure, we feel confident as a board that the work Dan has done in building a solid foundation along with our strong strategic vision, positions us well to transition to a new general manager,” said Dauna Kennedy Grant, president.

“We want to thank Dan for his work and appreciate that he will be staying with us at least until June to assist in the transition.”

Rogers, who will be pursuing new career opportunities, says he’s enjoyed his time with the chamber.

“The entire organization has worked hard to re-engage with members and re-energize the organization and I have no doubt it will continue to play a valuable role in creating a positive business environment in the North Okanagan,” he said.
