Cotter rink ready for the Brier

The Vernon/Kelowna rink won the men's provincial championship Sunday

Jim Cotter is headed back to the Brier.

Cotter, backed up by third Ryan Kuhn, second Tyrel Griffith and lead Rick Sawatsky, captured the B.C. men's curling title after a 7-6 win over Sean Geall of New Westminster in the final at Nelson Sunday.

Cotter, representing the Vernon and Kelowna clubs, went unbeaten through the 16-team Canadian Direct Insurance provincial championship.

The Tim Hortons Brier runs March 5 to 13 in Ottawa.
