Crash closes Highway 97 on Vernon’s hospital hill

Three vehicles involved, no estimated time of opening available

A three-vehicle accident has closed Highway 97 to traffic near Vernon’s hospital hill.

Vernon Fire Rescue Services is currently on the scene of the accident, which occurred near the intersection of 32nd Street and 18th Avenue shortly before 8 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 17.

There is currently no word on when the road will reopen. It is not yet known if any injuries were sustained in the accident.
