Vernon RCMP are still pursuing public assistance on a brutal assault.
A 24-year-old man was found by bystanders at 25th Avenue and 41st Street just after 10 p.m. June 6 with numerous stab wounds.
"He is expected to recover from his life threatening injuries," said Const. Jocelyn Noseworthy Sunday.
"The RCMP are still actively investigating this matter, and are asking anyone with information regarding this crime to contact 250-545-7171 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477."
