Environment Canada forecasts a daytime high of minus 7 Wednesday and an overnight low of minus 13.

For Thursday, the forecast high is minus 9 and the overnight low is minus 10.

The normal high for this time of the year is 0 and the minimum is minus 4.

As of 7 a.m. Wednesday, the temperature at Silver Star Mountain Resort was minus 18.

The resort has a snow base of 110 centimetres.
