A North Westside neighbourhood Road could eventually proceed with expanded amenities.
The Regional District of Central Okanagan board has given first reading to an official community plan bylaw amendment.
The strata for La Casa Resort has applied to the provincial government to purchase three Crown land parcels to develop ATV access to the Terrace Mountain Forest Service Road, a swimming pool, vehicle parking and a garbage transfer station.
“A condition of the sale requires that the parcels be rezoned to accommodate campground, cabin and motel commercial uses,” states an RDCO release.
“A public hearing will be scheduled and advertised for this application.”
