Non-urgent medical care is harder to come by for Vernon residents who don’t have a family doctor.

The Sterling Walk-in Clinic in Vernon closed its doors on Nov. 15, and no other walk-in clinics can be found within the city.

Evolve Allied Health, however, is trying to fill the gap with expanded walk-in availability at their clinic in Lake Country.

In a post to Facebook, the medical group said the Turtle Bay Medical Clinic has increased walk-in access Monday to Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
