North Okanagan highways and roadways are a slippery mess.

Overnight cold and snow have led to extreme slippery conditions.

"RCMP are reminding the public to slow down and drive to road conditions," said Vernon-North Okanagan RCMP Const. Jocelyn Noseworthy.

Accidents were reported this morning north of Vernon on Highway 97 at the Swan Lake overpass and near the Tolko mill on Highway 97A in Spallumcheen, as well as on Highway 97 south between Vernon and Lake Country.
