Around 300 took in the parade and activities on Saturday

Hundreds braved the cold and a bit of snow to take in Keremeos’ Light Up Parade on Saturday.

Around 300 took in all the event’s festivities which included a craft market on both Saturday and Sunday, free outdoor skate, live music by the Organic Humans and plenty of activities including climbing and turkey curling at the Similkameen Rec Centre.

The parade was themed around turning Keremeos into Santa’s workshop with St. Nick himself as well as the Grinch.

The Light Up is put on by Similkameen Country Development Association and the Similkameen Rec Centre.
