Housing construction continues at a slow pace.
There were 11 starts in Vernon in February compared to 31 during the same month in 2015, according to the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation.
Of the 11 starts, there were five single-detached units and six multiple units.
Year to date, there have been 22 housing starts in Vernon compared to 55 during the first two months of 2015.
