A special event dedicated to supporting the well-being of local first responders and military is coming to town.
An Operational Stress Workshop takes place July 7, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., from Davidson Operational Stress Recovery.
“As a reputable OSI Clinic, founded by Dr. Gordon Davidson, (long-time Vernonite, son of Neil Davidson who held esteemed positions such as mayor and law firm partner, and one of the founders of Silver Star) we are committed to addressing the prevention and management of Occupational Stress Injuries (OSIs) for public safety personnel and individuals affected by high levels of stress and trauma in their work,” said Adrienne Davidson-Helgerson.
“This event is designed to provide valuable insights, strategies, and support to individuals who have selflessly served our community and country.”
The event is by donation and all proceeds will support the clinic’s pro bono program providing mental health services to first responders.
