A man arrested in connection with a case of indecent exposure in Kelowna has been ruled out as a suspect in a similar incident in Vernon.

A 59-year-old supsect was taken into custody in Kelowna Thursday, May 25 after he allegedly exposed himself to others inside a business located on Rutland Road. The suspect left the store and departed the area in a Dodge Ram truck.

The man was arrested on Rutland Road and charged with indecent exposure.

The day before, Vernon-North Okanagan RCMP received a report of an indecent act which had occurred May 23, on the Okanagan Rail Trail off Kickwillie Loop Road.

A woman told police an unknown man in a wooded area near the one kilometre mark of the trail was observed masturbating. He continued to masturbate and began walking toward the complainant and acknowledged her verbally.
