Two men have been arrested following a weekend home invasion in Vernon.

RCMP were called to a residence in the Bella Vista area Saturday shortly before 5 p.m.

“An 83-year-old man phoned police to report that two men had entered his home and tied him to a chair,” said Vernon RCMP Const. Jocelyn Noseworthy.

This investigation is still ongoing.
