Winter driving conditions led a vehicle into the ditch off Highway 97 north of Lake Country Wednesday afternoon.
The crash occurred near Pelmewash Parkway and Gatzke Road. The RCMP attended the scene and firefighters reportedly left the scene and headed towards Vernon with lights flashing.
Kelowna RCMP media relations officer Cpl. Tammy Lobb said fortunately, there were no injuries.
“This was a single vehicle that had left the road and resulted in extensive damage, having to be towed from the scene,” Lobb said.
Lobb added the road conditions were snowy and icy at the time of the crash.
