UPDATE: The Vernon Recreation Complex is back open to the public.
The city reports that repairs are done and the facility is open after being shut down at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The closure was caused by a blocked septic line.

The Vernon Recreation Complex, including the pool and Halina Centre, is closed Tuesday due to mechanical issues.
The facility will remain closed until the issues are resolved.
"Staff anticipate the centre will be reopened later today," said Tanya Laing Gahr, the city's communications officer.
