Vernon motorists traveling along 25th Avenue and Okanagan Landing Road may experience minor travel delays next week, as crews work on a portion of the city’s sewer system.

Starting as early as Monday, May 2, crews will be working at the intersection of Okanagan Landing Road and Tronson Road, as well as on 25th Avenue near the Vernon Water Reclamation Centre.

Traffic in those areas will be reduced to single-lane alternating while the work takes place.

“For the safety of workers and public, please obey all traffic control signage and directions from traffic control personnel,” the city said. “Every effort will be made to minimize disruptions but minor travel delays should be expected.

“The city appreciates everyone’s patience while this project is being completed.”
