September 27, 1935 - March 11, 2019
It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Alan Hay Potter on March 11, 2019 in Vernon, BC. Alan worked for the Bank of Canada for 36 years being transferred from coast to coast. Alan was an avid fisherman who had great love for anything outdoors. He spent much of his free time golfing, skiing and travelling extensively with his wife to various areas of Canada, the United States and other countries. Alan will be deeply missed by his loving wife Carole Potter, to whom he was married for 61 years, his daughters Jan, Jodi, son and best buddy Jamie, 5 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter, along with numerous friends and extended family. He is predeceased by his oldest grandson in 2016, 2 brothers, 1 sister and parents.
There will be a Celebration of Life held for Alan at 1:30 pm on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Canterbury Court (3011 Gateby Place, on the 2nd floor in the Rec Room).
