It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Aline Marie Pedersen (nee Gaucher). Her last breath was taken on May 1st. 2020 in the loving care of Pleasant Valley Manor, Armstrong B.C. finally released from the battle with dementia
Aline was born April 21st, 1941 in Wandering River, Alberta raised in a family with four sisters and three brothers. Aline became a nurse's aide in the Lac la Biche hospital to help out the large Gaucher family.
Aline married Stan Pedersen on July 2nd, 1962. They had two children and made their home in Armstrong British Columbia. Aline's nurturing heart made her to be an exceptional wife and mother.
The highlight of Aline's life was her four treasured grandchildren. She served them with love, compassion and a foundation for God. She dedicated all her time to her grandchildren. Aline loved nature and would often be seen walking, gardening and enjoying her surroundings.
Aline was a soft sweet soul. Always smiling and offering warmth to those around her. She was a dedicated member of the Grandview Seventh Day Adventist Church and loved her Heavenly Father dearly and looked forward to that great day she would be with Him.
Aline is survived by her husband Stanley Pedersen, daughter Darlene Biro (Mike), Son Dwayne (Tricia) Pedersen, Granddaughter Danika Pedersen (Dylan), Grandsons Nathan Biro (Jess), Jayden Pedersen and Caleb Biro as well as one brother and four sisters.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Pleasant Valley Manor in Armstrong who always went over and above the call of duty to care for Aline. Stan referred to them as Angels of Mercy.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dementia Society or Pleasant Valley Manor in Armstrong.
