It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Art on February 22, 2016 in Vernon, BC, born July 30, 1927 in Regina, SK. Art grew up in Armstrong but eventually moved to Kamloops where he resided for 20 years before moving back to his hometown where he settled back down for 25 years. He was a lifelong railroader, working as a signal maintenance operator for CNR. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Reserves and was always active in his community.
Art is survived by his ex-wife Delores; children: Michael, Leo, Denise; grandchildren: Lily, Willow, Samara; and many extended family and friends. He is the last of his family.
A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Armstrong Spallumcheen Cemetery with a reception to follow at St. James Anglican Church hall. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family at www.MyAltneratives.ca
