It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Beatrice French, on October 6, 2018.
Beatrice was born in Thunder Bay, Ontario, February 2, 1930. She passed away peacefully at Parkview Place, in Enderby, BC.
Beatrice is survived by her husband Gorden French, of 18 years.
She is survived by her sons Allen O. Dawdy, and Glenn W. Dawdy (Alia), of Ft. Saskatchewan, AB., and daughter Cheryl B. Edwards (Howard) of Ft. Saskatchewan, AB. She is survived by 5 grandchildren, their spouses, and 16 great grandchildren. Also survived by step-daughter Joanne Sankey (Michael Irmen) their 2 sons, and step-son John French, and his son.
Beatrice grew up in Ontario, married Oliver Dawdy, had 3 children, then moved to BC in 1962. They moved to Enderby in 1972. Beatrice has resided in Enderby for 46 years.
She married Gorden French on June 25, 2000.
Beatrice was active in the community and made many friends there.
The family would like to gratefully thank the nurses, care aids, and staff of Parkview Place in Enderby, for the excellent care of Beatrice.
