Bertha Clara "Bert" Skaley passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side on September 20, 2020.
Bert is survived by her daughters Michelle (Darren), Allison (Richard), La Dawn (Richard), numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, her sister Luciel (Jim), extended family and true friends (you know who you are). She was predeceased by her husband Allan.
Bert was known for her love of children, having operated a day home for 30 years in Vernon. She will always be remembered as having an abundance of energy, a sense of humour, and never turning down an opportunity to socialize or dance.
A private service will be held. In lieu of flowers please donate to Easter Seals House or any children's charity of your choice.
