Far too soon, we are saying good-bye to our great friend Beth, proud mother of Julian. While we have shed tears, we will not languish, for it was not her way!

Beth was born in Springfield, MA. She also lived in Long Beach Island, NJ, and Loveland, CO, before moving to British Columbia, where, after 100 Mile House and Williams Lake, she arrived in Vernon, a place she knew she was meant to be, and which she loved.
Through her life, Beth touched so many people, including many in the North Okanagan area. She was a realtor in Vernon for 14 years, and was an active volunteer in the community. In addition to being a member of the Kalamalka Rotary Club, Beth rounded up a powerful team to raise the seed money to buy Habitat for Humanity's first lot in Vernon. She also spearheaded the initial First Responder Appreciation hockey game, now a yearly event where local first responders are honoured. Beth always had great ideas on how to positively influence and empower those around her. Her affable, yet no-nonsense manner touched many hearts.
To celebrate Beth's life, please join us Saturday, July 27th at 2 pm at the Schubert Centre, 3505 - 30th Avenue in Vernon. Feel free to wear something bright!
In lieu of flowers, those who wish can make a donation to one of Beth's favourite charities, like the Vernon SPCA, Habitat for Humanity
Okanagan, or to a charity of their choosing.
Happy trails, Beth. We miss you!
