Betty Trant

September 25, 1939 - November 8, 2019
It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved beautiful Betty. After a brief but courageous battle with cancer, she died at home surrounded by family.
Greeted with a smile; warm and welcoming, she loved to give all of herself to all whom she met. Starting at Eaton's, she retired from the Vernon Jubilee Hospital after 27 years of loving her job and all of her co-workers in OR/CSD. Her love of family, many friends and years spent at her cabin on Okanagan Lake holds treasured memories of her kind and giving nature. Betty had a full life, enjoyed many years travelling and was the greatest grandma. Betty was loved by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters Laurel and Gail, and two grandsons Cody and Levi. Betty's greatest loss was her only son David in 2003. The Trant Family wishes to extend many thanks to Vernon Home Support. We couldn't have had mom at home without you; God Bless these workers and Isabelle for your genuine care.
A Memorial Tea will be held at Pleasant Valley Funeral Home on Friday, Nov. 22, 2019 at 2:00 pm.
