November 13, 1956 - March 15, 2024

In loving memory ~

Brad was born on November 13th, 1956 in Edmonton, Alberta and died of Progressive Supranuclear Palsy on March 15th, 2024 in Osprey Court at the age of 67 years.

Brad was the fourth of six children in the family of Stan and Elza Bienert. His two eldest siblings, Beverly age four and Brian age two, died as the result of a terrible traffic accident a year before Brad was born. Brad grew up in Ardrossan, Alberta where he attended school and following his Graduation he went to NAIT in Edmonton. He began working for Dow Canada on October 10th, 1978, then later moving to Shell Chemical where he started employment on June 15th, 2011 as a Compressor Specialist.

Brad married the love of his life, Sandra (Sandi) Peters on September 7th, 1985 in Vernon, B.C. and two sons were born to this union: Jeffery Paul Bienert and Justin Lucus Bienert. He leaves behind his loving immediate family together with one sister, Deborah (Grant) Williams; two brothers, Rod (Helen) Bienert and Derrick (Sharon) Bienert; his nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of friends and past co-workers. Brad was preceded in death by his two eldest siblings, his parents, one great-niece, Gabriella, and his father-in-law, Jack Peters.

Brad loved racing and he worked on many sprint car teams. Eventually, he was the crew chief for his two sons. Brad and Sandi loved travelling and they were found visiting many exciting and exotic parts of the world such as Greece, the Caribbean, Hawaii, Arizona and Idaho. They spent many enjoyable times "glamping" in their RV.

Cremation preceded a Celebration of Brad's Life which will take place at Bethel Funeral Chapel on Saturday, April 20th, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Clint Batchelor officiating. A Reception will follow in the Bethel Tea Room.
