Bryan Wiens

Bryan Wiens, a man whose life was a testament to dedication, love, and peace, passed away on April 24, 2024.

Born in Radville, Saskatchewan, Bryan's journey through life was marked by hard work, laughter, and a deep appreciation for the simple pleasures that surrounded him. An avid outdoorsman in his youth, Bryan never lost his love of fishing, camping and being in nature.

Bryan's professional path led him to Edmonton, where he dedicated years of service to the City of Edmonton until his well-deserved retirement to Vernon.

His commitment to his work was matched only by his commitment to his family. Bryan was a pillar of strength and love for his beloved wife Donna and his daughters, Stacey (Donison) and Becky (Renfroe), and their husbands (Brad Donison and David Renfroe) and their families.

Bryan's passing leaves a void in the lives of all who knew him, yet his spirit will continue to inspire us to live each day with kindness and the ability to whole-heartedly enjoy the simple things.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. A Celebration of Life will be held on July 6, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., at Spallumcheen Golf & Country Club.
