Carrie Gwen Abbott passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 11th, 2023 at North Okanagan Hospice House in Vernon. She was born on December 1st, 1966 in Hamilton, Ontario.
Raised in Vernon, Carrie was a much-loved painter and artist. She was kind and caring and loved fast cars, Jeeps, and her faithful dog Bailey.
She is survived by her mother, Patricia Kelderman (Robert), son Christopher from her marriage to Alan Zawyrucha, daughter Jessica from her marriage to Tony Verhoeven, sisters Wendi Buckmaster (James) and Tammy Kelderman (Peter), brother Ed Lehming (Betty), and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Carrie's family and friends respect her final wishes not to have a funeral or celebration of life.
