Cindy Marchand

May 11, 1959 - May 31, 2019
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Cindy Marchand, who died peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer. Cindy is survived by her husband of 40 years Philip Marchand, daughter Chandra Marchand, son Ryan Marchand, granddaughter Rylee Marchand, brothers Keith Schappert, Harvey Schappert and sister Twyla Fletcher.
Cindy was a loving mother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, grandmother and friend to many. She carried over her compassion and caring nature into her career as a nurse of 40 years. Cindy will be well remembered for her humour, wonderful cooking and always being a shoulder to lean on to everyone and anyone that needed her.
The family asks that you join us for her service and celebration of life that will be held on Friday, June 7th, 11 am at the Vernon Curling & Athletic Club.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to The North Okanagan Hospice Society.
