We regret to announce the passing of Walter David Brooks on Thursday, November 28th. David was born in North Vancouver on September 8, 1952. At the time of his passing, David was 67 years old. David grew up in North Vancouver. He married Colleen May Cooper in 1981 and lived in Fort Langley for 12 years before moving to Armstrong and then Enderby.
David was a sanitary engineer and a chinchilla rancher for over 30 years until his retirement in 2017. He was very well known in the community. David and Colleen were members of the Enderby Lion's Club for many years. David especially loved the Enderby Garden Club and the Salmon Arm Square Dancing Club.
David is survived by his loving wife Colleen (married 38 years), his brother John Brooks in Vernon, his sister April Fox, his uncles Philip and Rex Brooks and numerous cousins who reside at the coast.
There will be a memorial service to honor David's memory in the spring of 2020.
