May 16, 1981 - February 21, 2019
It is with incredible sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Deanna Sehn (nee Sims) on February 21, 2019.
Deanna is survived by husband Keith Sehn; step-son Chris Wilson, age 36; son Kyle Sehn, age 18; son Axton Foley, age 16; daughter Ember Sehn, age 5; twin sister Kayla Goertzen; sister-in-law Sharon Sehn, mother Roline Sims, and father Craig Phare.
Deanna was born May 16, 1981 in Prince George, BC. She was outgoing, spirited, and loved people. Deanna was dearly loved by her many family members, friends, and co-workers. In the important role of a care-aide at Gateby Intermediate Care Residence, Deanna was also loved by the residents, who she felt privileged to be with and care for in their last moments.
Deanna worked and volunteered at the North Okanagan Friendship Centre Society. There she gained a great sense of comfort and support, which she shared back, by helping many individuals and families in the community. She loved to spend time with Ember, and volunteered at her school.
A great light has gone out of this world. Deanna will be deeply missed and forever loved.
A celebration of life will be held at the Schubert Centre, 3505-30th Avenue, Vernon BC, Saturday March 2, 2019, from 1pm to 4 pm.
