Debbie passed away in the Vernon Jubilee Hospital with her family by her side. She was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan to Marvin and Ruth Martensen. She moved to Vernon with her family in the early 1960s. Debbie completed all her schooling in Vernon.
She was an avid baseball player for many years and was given the nickname "Stick" by her team members.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years Randy Romanchuk daughter Ashley, three grandchildren Gage, Salenna and Chantelle. Sisters Fern Rosengren (Surrey) Alethea (Dave) Newton (Vernon) one brother Dave Martensen (Vernon). Debbie also had many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her sister Fay Cash, mother Ruth and father Marvin.
A Celebration of Life may be held at a later date due to COVID
Donations can be made in Debbies name to the BC Cancer Society.
