1946 – 2017
It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of Dorothy Mae Spencer in Vernon, BC. Daughter of William and Elizabeth Spencer born on August 3, 1946 in Calgary, AB. She passed away peacefully on June 5, 2017 with family and friends by her side.
We would like to thank the many staff at Gateby and Vernon Jubilee Hospital for the love and care they gave Dorothy over the years. I know she made some dear friends from some of the staff there. And a special thanks to Ken for being so kind and caring over the years to Dorothy.
Dorothy was a loving and caring mother to two boys, Robert Valair (Deceased) and Mark Valair. Her grandchildren Kayla, Shawn and Taryn. And great grandaughter Claira. Her loving sisters Linda (Harley - Deceased) Neufeld and Elsie Chahley, and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for family and friends.
