Edna Marjorie Claffey
March 9, 1937 - October 24, 2017
It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of Edna Marjorie Claffey on October 24, 2017 in Vernon, BC.
Edna had many hobbies including sewing, camping with family and friends, cake decorating, gardening, travelling and collecting fairies but she especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Edna is survived by her loving husband Lloyd Claffey, to whom she was married for 62 years, daughters Lavina (Erv) Daskis, Cherryl (Bjorn) Engum, Amber (Craig) Grove and Patrice (Nathan) Davies, grandchildren Julie Smithers, Lisa McPhee, Geordy and Teila Smart, Justin and Jacobie Grove, Christopher, Megan and Adam Davies as well as her sister Marilyn Flavell, brother Jack (Joan) Nelson and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her mother Ina Margaret Mann, father Par Norberg, brother James Norberg, sister Anne Wlasitz and brother Joe Mann.
Edna deeply touched the lives of others and she will be tremendously missed by all those who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to do so may make a memorial donation in Edna's memory to the Diabetes Association (1589 Sutherland Ave, Kelowna, BC V1Y 5Y7).
