Eileen Julianna Morphet

Eileen Julianna Morphet, age 89, passed away on December 24th, 2022 in Vernon, B.C. Eileen was born in Earl Grey, Saskatchewan to Karoline (nee Maier) and Phillip Armbruster, the youngest of 4 children.
Eileen and Don met in Vancouver, B.C. and were married October 1959. In 1962 they moved to Kitimat where they lived for 31 years and raised their 3 children, Cheryl (Bill Leite), Valerie and Douglas (Kristi-Ann Watrin). Eileen worked for BC Hydro for many years and transferred to the Vernon office before retiring. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile, served as an Elder in her church and did volunteer work in the community. Eileen was an avid quilter and crafter and belonged to local quilting and crafting groups.
Eileen was predeceased by her husband Don, siblings, Ed (Irene), Bill (Jose) and brother-in-law Dave Harder. She leaves behind her sister Gladys, her children and grandchildren Jason (Noel), Derek (Krista), Davin, Ryan, Kara and Curtis as well as her 7 great-grandchildren.
A dedication and blessing will be held on January 22nd, 2023 during the 10:00 am Sunday service with tea to follow at Knox Presbyterian Church 3701 32nd Ave, Vernon B.C. All her friends and acquaintances are welcome to attend the service and/or the tea.
