It is with heavy hearts that the family of Elena I-Jen Unger announces her passing on February 23, 2018 at the Royal Colombian Hospital in New Westminister. Elena entered into eternal peace at the age of 54 due to a sudden brain aneurysm.
Elena was born on February 25th, 1963 in Taipei, Taiwan. She will be forever in the memory of her husband Cleve, daughter Melody and son O'Ryan.
Elena left a life long legacy in sharing her love and faith in Christ. She spent the majority of her life serving the Lord at her church, Chinese Tabernacle Baptist Church, through her various roles as music director, secretary and kitchen coordinator.
Elena was known for her bright and contagious smile and her big loving heart. She truly did her best representing Christ wherever she went.
As her last and final act of love she donated her organs to those in need as she passed on.
Elena will be greatly missed.
