Mr. Elmer Arthur Warkentine passed away peacefully in Kamloops, British Columbia on April 14th 2017, aged 87 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his family: daughters - Kathleen Gail Korpa (Frank), Joan Warkentine (Henry), and Dianne Erickson (Steve), and sons - Michael Warkentine (Tammy), Greg Warkentine (Denise), 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, his brother, six sisters, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as friends and relatives who will also remember him fondly. He is predeceased by his mother Marie, his father Abraham, and his wife Beverley.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, April 25th, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Schoening Funeral Service, 513 Seymour St. with Celebrant Glen Peter officiating. There will be a viewing from 12:30 to 1:00 pm prior to the service.
