April 10, 2019
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Elsie Webster on April 10th, 2019 in the Vernon Jubilee Hospital with her family by her side at the age of 84 years.

Elsie was predeceased by her husband Ken Webster in 1975. She will be deeply missed by her children; Bob Webster, Shelley (Chris) Reeves, Carol Webster, Linda Heinz and Barbara (Marc) Webster, her grandchildren; Connor (Samantha) Reeves, Brett Reeves, Brittany Webster, Jennifer Gagne and Kenny Heinz, her great-grandchildren; Erin and Nixon Peters, her brother; John (Karen) Lewicky along with numerous extended family members and friends.

Mom was a gracious and welcoming host. Many are the memories of large family dinners where mom would share her love of her Ukrainian heritage with delicious meals. Given her generous spirit, many guests hold treasured memories of the family cabin.

She had a special love for her plants and grew vegetables to share with us. She was also a very passionate fan of the Vancouver Canucks.

Cremation preceded a Celebration of Elsie's Life which will be held at Bethel Funeral Chapel on Friday, April 26th, 2019 at 1 pm with Pastor Jeremy Kinniburgh officiating. A Reception will follow in the Bethel Tea Room.

As an expression of sympathy, those who wish to do so may send donations in memory of Elsie to Compassion Canada.

Forever in our hearts, until we meet again.

Funeral arrangements have been made with Bethel Funeral Chapel Ltd., 5605 27th Street, Vernon, B.C. V1T 8Z5 (250) 542-1187.
