Emile Gagnon

February 19, 1931 - December 18, 2019
Emile was born to Cyprien and Marie Gagnon on the family farm at Lafleche, Saskatchewan. They sold the farm and moved to Vernon in 1979. Emile married Jane in 1981. Together they enjoyed bowling, traveling in their RV, the Casino and socializing with friends and neighbours during their 38 year marriage. He was also very happy to acquire a loving extended family and enjoyed spending time with them. This included many nieces and nephews.
Emile was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Paul and Roger; and one sister, Yvette. By now all his aunts and uncles are gone but he is survived by cousins and their families; Roger's step-children and their families; one step-son, Jerry (Sandi) Huska, their children, Jeffrey, Michelle, Michael, Cory and Julie and their families; one step-daughter, Joyce (Al) Kitzman, their children, Darcy and Dale and their families.
The family would like to thank Dr. Spencer for his compassionate care and the nurses who were there for us.
Cremation preceded a Celebration Of Emile's Life which will be held in the Tea Room at Bethel Funeral Chapel on Monday, December 30th, 2019 at 12:00 Noon. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish to do so may send donations in memory of Emile to the charity of their choice.
