It is with sad hearts that we say goodbye to our dear friend Eric Bourrie who died in his sleep of heart failure.
For some he was the handy man who cleared our walks, mowed our lawns and did all kinds of repairs. To others he was their only social contact. He was a devoted son and caregiver to his father for many years.
As honest, kind, funny, and loyal as any man could be, he seemed much younger than his 59 years. He loved fishing, gardening and hanging out at the "shop" with his buddies Dennis and Tony.
Born in Toronto, he grew up in Kamloops where he worked as a ranch hand, welder, carpenter and jack of all trades. He moved with his father to Coldstream and quickly became a fixture in Lakeway Mobile Home Park. He had many friends in Lakeway and will be missed by all.
Predeceased by his mother. He leaves behind his father, Donald Edmund, sister, Yvonne (Edgar) and an older brother, Mike (Linda) and numerous nieces and nephews.
