Ethel Samoleski

March 13, 1929 - September 10, 2019
Ethel was born on March 13th, 1929 in Kindersley, Saskatchewan and passed away peacefully on September 10th, 2019 in Armstrong, B.C. at the age of 90 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons; Richard (Rosemarie) Samoleski and Darren Samoleski, her daughter; Janice (Daryll) Shaw, her grandson; Nathan Adams, her sister; Shirley (Gordon) Dean along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Ethel was preceded in death by her husband; Edward Samoleski, her granddaughter; Megan Shaw, one sister, seven brothers and by her parents; William & Elizabeth Brown.
Ethel was affectionately known as "mom" to everyone who knew her. She loved going for walks, camping and enjoying the outdoors. She was an avid reader and liked to challenge herself with crossword puzzles. Ethel had a great sense of humor. You always knew when she was up to no good because she couldn't hide that twinkle in her eye!
Cremation preceded a Celebration of Ethel's Life which will be held in the Tea Room of Bethel Funeral Chapel on Saturday, September 21st, 2019 at 1:00 pm.
As an expression of sympathy, those who wish to do so may send donations in memory of Ethel to the Vancouver Children's Hospital or to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
