MONTGOMERY
Eva Magdalena Montgomery (nee Metzger) passed away on March 31, 2006, at Hospice House in Vernon with her loving family at her side at the age of 61 years. Eva was born on March 31, 1945 and raised in the Spring Valley District where she met her husband, Wilf, from Crane Valley and they were married in 1964. Eva enjoyed being a homemaker and loved the outdoors and gardening. She also loved to bake and do volunteer work. In 1991, they moved to Vernon. Her greatest enjoyment in life was her family. Eva was predeceased by her father, Andrew Metzger, brothers, Andy and Rudy, father-in-law, Mervin Montgomery, and brother-in-law, Jim Brown. She is survived by her loving husband, Wilfred; sons, Kevin, Kelvin, and Stacy (Carrie); and granddaughters, Kellie and Ashlynn. She is further survived by her mother, Eda Metzger of Moose Jaw, SK; sister, Freda Brown of Regina; sister-in-law, Joan Metzger of Ormiston; mother-in-law, Katie Montgomery; brother-in-law, Donald (Marie) Montgomery; sisters-in-law, Ethel (Barry) Akins, Barbara (Terry) Moore, and Emily Montgomery; and many nieces and nephews, cousins, and special friends. Eva will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. A Celebration Of Life will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Tuesday, April 11th, 2006 at the Pleasant Valley Funeral Home with Mr. David Hockley officiating. Cremation.
