September 29, 1950 - April 20, 2021
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we share the sudden passing of our dad, Gary Albert Mitten on April 20, 2021. Gary was born in Powell River September 29, 1950.
Gary is survived by his children Michelle and Cameron, his grandchildren Breanna and Kristopher, his brother Robert (Pat), his nephews, his cousins, along with many friends.
Dad's dream was always to live high on top of a mountain away from the city life. After many years of working with the City of Vancouver, he retired to pursue his dream.
Although dad did not live high on top of a mountain, he did find his piece of paradise in Lumby where he could live a more relaxed life with his dogs, raising chickens and simply enjoying the beauty that surrounded him.
