It is with profound sadness that the family of George Phillips announces his passing on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at the age of 53.
George was predeceased by his father, Norman Phillips, mother Thelma Phillips (nee Gauvin) and nephew Jonathan Eagles. He is survived by his loving wife, Julie, daughter Shayleena and son Slade of Armstrong, B.C. and daughter Katrina (Mark Hutter), grandchildren Sebastian, Spencer, and another little one due in March, residing in Vernon, B.C. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Gary Phillips (Kelly), Eva Cormier (Robert), Tina Eagles (Greg) and Dwayne Phillips (Angie). Also niece and nephews, Adam Cormier, Lisa Downey, Steven Middleton, Tyler Phillips, Jeremy Phillips, and Tadd Phillips.
Born in Moncton, New Brunswick, George had made the Okanagan Valley his home. Well known wherever he travelled, his sense of humour, work ethic, and love for his family will always be remembered. George will be interred at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Vernon, B.C. In keeping with his wishes.
