Gordon Thomas "Tom" Flood

August 14, 1928 - January 16, 2019
Tom was born on August 14th, 1928 in Cochrane, Ontario and was called Home to be with his Lord on January 16th, 2019 at the age of 90 years.

Tom will be lovingly remembered by his wife Erna; one son, Scott (Nataly) Flood of Vernon, B.C.; one daughter, Diana (Rick) Corak of Kimberley, B.C.; four grandchildren, Tyler (Maris) of Vancouver, B.C., Ashley (Trevor) of Vernon, B.C., Katlyn (Josh) of Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia and Steven (Krista) of Fernie, B.C.; Erna's sons, Bob, Bruce, Brian (Shannon) and their families; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Doreen; and two sisters, Isabel Erwin and Dawna Colson.

Tom was a man whose life was centered around his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. He dearly loved his grandchildren and spent as much quality time with them as possible. Tom was a faithful employee of both Ontario and BC Hydro for over 45 years combined and was well respected by others in this, his chosen profession. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed time spent with good friends around a roaring campfire.

A Remembrance Of Tom's Life will be held at Bethel Funeral Chapel on Saturday, January 26th, 2019 at 2 pm with Rick Corak officiating. A Reception will follow in the Bethel Tea Room.
