With deepest sorrows we announce the sudden passing of Hans Gunther Jabs, on February 7th, 2023, Hans Jabs passed away at the age of 73 in Vernon Jubilee hospital.
Hans worked for Applewood Heating and Air Conditioning for over 22 years where he grew to be seen as a family member of those he worked with.
Hans loved fishing, camping, taking road trips, and enjoying his Tim Hortons coffee every morning with his long-time friends. Anyone that knew Hans knew he was one of a kind.
His loyalty and hard-working attitude were apparent in everything he did. Hans was well-known as the type of person to offer the shirt off his back to anyone in need.
Hans was predeceased by his parents Gustav and Elly Jabs.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sister Petra Johnston, his kids Faith and Ian Jabs, his partner Julie Jackson of Vernon B.C., nephew Kevin Scott, Tim (June) Scott of Vernon B.C., Stacy (Mary) Scott of Dawson Creek, Elly (Mike) Mys of Drayton Valley Ab, great niece Ashley (Jeremy, Olivia) Ritch of Georgia USA, Louis Mys of Drayton valley Ab, Sydney (Audrey) Scott of Kamloops B.C. and many more extended family members and friends.
A memorial will be held at a later date.
