The family of Harvey Courtemanche sadly announces his passing on Thursday, August 2, 2018 in Vernon, B.C. at the age of 76.
Harvey is survived by son, Scott (Tracy) Courtemanche of Fernie, B.C. and children: Lane, Mat, and Wes; daughter, Buffy (Dave) Watson of Hinton, AB and children: Josh, Cody, and Marc; sister, Norma Orr of Vernon, B.C.; brother, Wilf (Laura) Courtemanche of Vernon, B.C.; sisters-in-law: Louise Devlin of Surrey, B.C. and Beverly (Jim) Russell of Armstrong B.C.; close friend, Linda Wadley Courtemanche and her daughters: Nadine and Mishel, and Mishel's sons: Balazs and Milan.
Harvey also leaves behind other family members and special friends with whom he shared many great memories. Harvey was preceded in death by his parents, Armand and Evyline; his wife, Joan; sisters: Ann, and Brenda; and his friend and brother-in-law, Doug.
A Celebration of Harvey's Life will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Schubert Centre, 3505-30th Avenue, Vernon BC. Interment will occur in Hinton, Alberta at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make memorial contributions in memory of Harvey may do so to a charity of personal choice.
