Apr 3, 1916 - Feb 24, 2018
Henry was born on April 3rd, 1916 in Whitemouth, Manitoba and passed away on February 24th, 2018 in the North Okanagan Hospice at the age of 101 years, of which he was so proud to have reached.

Henry will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Margaret Martin; his grandchildren, great - grandchidren and numerous extended family members. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Irene; his son-in-law, William Martin and his siblings, William, Bertha, Lidya and Esther.

Henry's family and faith were the focus of his life. He was an intelligent, industrious, kind, loving and amazing man who was admired and embraced by all.

Henry served his country during WW11 as a Radar Technician, RAF Squadron 311, stationed in England, Scotland and Wales. His interests in life were many: curling, golf, bridge and gardening. He kept up with technology and got his first computer at age 80 and an I pad in his 90s. He loved to tinker in his basement and had triplicates of all his tools. When a special occasion such as Christmas came around and there was a turkey to be carved - no one could do it like Henry!

A private family Graveside Service will take place at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery prior to a Celebration of Henry's Life which will be held at Bethel Funeral Chapel on Saturday, March 10th, 2018 at 3:00 pm with Pastor Craig Tufts officiating.

As an expression of sympathy, those who wish to do so may send donations in memory of Henry to the North Okanagan Hospice Society, 3506-27th Avenue, Vernon, B.C. V1T 8Z5.

Funeral arrangements have been made with BETHEL FUNERAL CHAPEL LTD., 5605-27th Street, Vernon, B.C. V1T 8Z5
